Privacy

This page explains what this site records.

Clicks to official websites

Links to a place's official website go through a short address on this site (/go/…) and then forward you. We count these clicks per day, per place and per link type, together with which section of this site you came through and a rough source of your visit: "search engine", "direct", or "other site". We do not store your IP address, cookies or any identifier with these counts.

To know the rough source, your browser keeps two small values in this tab's session storage (which section you visited, and search/direct/other). They stay in your browser and are removed when you close the tab.

Page views

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Contact form

When you send the contact form, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply. To limit spam, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address to count messages per hour. After that hour it is no longer used, and it is erased the next time the form is used or when we collect our daily counts.
